Vegan Chickpea Faux Tuna Salad
Why faux tuna salad is so much happier and tastier than tuna salad:
1. Because tuna, a beautiful sea creature, didn’t have to die (tuna is a large predator fish and many are endangered, eating them is the equivalent of killing a big cat like a Bengal tiger and eating it)
2. There is no revolting fishy smell, because there’s no fish!
3. No fish means no mercury.
Ingredients:
1 can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans, drained
2 tablespoons sesame tahini
1/4 cup of white onion, minced
1-2 celery ribs, roughly chopped
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
2 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise such as Follow Your Heart Vegenaise
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. The end product will be very similar to hummus.

yum. i will have to try and make this.
