Daily Vegan Lunch for 25 March, 2013: Pine Nut Veggie Sausage Pizza

Garlic! Don’t eat this pizza an hour before you go on a hot date.

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 a ball of pizza crust dough or one pizza crust
1/2 jar of marinara sauce or 1 jar pizza sauce
1 cup black olives, drained
1/2 cup pine nuts
2 vegan Italian sausages, chopped
3-5 cloves minced garlic
1/2 an onion, sliced

Roll pizza crust very thin in a pizza pan or lay out your pre-made crust. Mix minced garlic with marinara sauce and spread it thinly over your crust. Sprinkle black olives, pine nuts, chopped sausages, and onion over crust. Bake in a 425 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned. I am going to put up a homemade pizza crust tutorial up at some point (yeast, water, flour) but I haven’t gotten around to it yet. It’s actually super-easy and fast to make pizza crust, not to mention CHEAP.
